Arrested in South Africa, Fulgence Kayishema, one of four remaining fugitives sought for their role in the 1994 Rwanda genocide, is set to appear in Cape Town Magistrate’s Court. Paul Rusesabagina, the polarising hero of the hit movie "Hotel Rwanda," appears at court in Kigali after admitting to helping form an armed group but denying any role in its crimes. Rusesabagina is famous for his depiction by Don Cheadle in the 2004 film "Hotel Rwanda" in which a moderate Hutu is shown as saving hundreds of lives at a luxury hotel during the 1994 genocide, which left some 800,000, mostly Tutsi, dead. A Paris court has approved the transfer of Rwandan genocide suspect Felicien Kabuga, arrested in France after decades on the run, to a UN body for trial. Accused of financing the 1994 genocide of some 800,000 people, Kabuga asked to be tried in France, and he can still appeal the decision to hand him over to the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (MICT) for a trial in Arusha, Tanzania.
