A group of re-elected MPs from the ultra-left France Unbowed (LFI) arrive at the National Assembly behind their leader, Mathilde Panot, the day after the first round of the legislative elections. 32 New Popular Front (NFP) MPs were elected in the first round, including 20 from France Unbowed, compared to 39 for the far-right RN and its allies. French MPs agree by 181 votes to 163 to phase out most of the special pension schemes provided for in the first article of the pension reform. These schemes benefit workers at transport provider RATP, energy provider IEG and the Bank of France among others.
