The White House will demand more information from Israel after "deeply concerning" reports of bodies found strewn at Gaza's largest hospital complex as Israeli forces pulled out after an intensive military operation there. The United States is working to facilitate another deal on the release of hostages seized by Hamas and held in Gaza, but "imminent developments" are unlikely, the White House says. "We are hopeful about the progress but I do not expect, we should not expect any imminent developments," US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby tells reporters at a press briefing.
