Kabul, Feb 15 (EFE).- At least eight civilians, including a child, have been killed in an airstrike that targeted Taliban militants in eastern Afghanistan, government officials said on Saturday, amid a breakthrough in peace talks between the United States and the insurgent group.The air raid was carried out on Friday afternoon in the eastern province of Nangarhar. Two U.S. service members and over 30 civilians, including women and children, were killed in air strikes in Kunduz on Thursday. The air strikes were called in to protect U.S. and local troops in clashes against the Taliban.
