Former Bosnian Serb army commander Ratko Mladic is to appeal his life sentence, his son said Wednesday, calling the judgement by a UN court "war propaganda". SOUNDBITE
Widows of Srebrenica and Muslim survivors of the 1995 massacre committed in the Bosnian town watch the live broadcast of the appeal verdict of former Bosnian Serb military chief Ratko Mladic. A Moscow appeal court has upheld a prison sentence imposed on chief Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny after he returned to Russia from Germany last month. Judge Dmitry Balashov rejected Navalny's appeal of the February 2 ruling, which turned a 2014 suspended sentence on embezzlement charges into real jail time. IMAGES
