Mercedes-Benz rolled out its new A-Class to the 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and showed off its new Mercedes-Benz User Experience, or MBUX, smart multimedia system. The MBUX combines a futuristic display, Optical Finger Navigation, and voice controls with a high-level computing package, including 8GB of RAM, two different Nvidia graphics cards, and an AI recommendation system.

The Mercedes V-Class is based on the Mercedes Vito van and offers generous space for up to eight passengers in a luxurious package. It comes at a price, though, but it occupies a unique place in the market for people looking for a luxurious people carrier with a generous dose of practicality.

However, when you compare it to rivals like the Bentley Continental GT and Aston Martin DB9, the big Merc starts to look like a bit of a bargain.For the performance on offer, the S-Class coupe's running costs aren't actually that bad. Yes, compared to a Ford Focus hatchback, a lowly 30mpg doesn't look great, but when you take into account the powerful engines and sporty handling, it's actually pretty impressive. Besides, if you can afford the car's list price, the high fuel consumption is unlikely to worry you.
