A group of UK-based pilots for the low-cost airline Ryanair has begun two days of strike action. The airline is not expecting major disruption to its schedule as a result, but it's facing industrial unrest in many of its European bases. FRANCE 24's Business Editor Stephen Carroll reports.

Some 30 Ryanair flights have been cancelled this Thursday as the low-cost carrier sees its first industrial action since recognising unions in December. Ryanair's Irish pilots are on strike to push for better pay and working conditions. Also today, the bidding war for Sky continues as Comcast makes a new offer for the UK TV giant.
