Mobile phone video provided courtesy of Tommy Engerer captures the moment as a fight breaks out on a Ryanair flight travelling from Brussels to Malta on Thursday, forcing the plane to land in Pisa, Italy. For reasons that are still unknown, four men began assaulting each other suddenly as flight service members attempted to intervene. The cabin crew then informed passengers over the intercom that the pilots made the decision to divert the plane. The four passengers involved in the flight were escorted off the plane and arrested at Pisa city airport. Ryanair has reportedly said in reaction to the incident that it will not tolerate such behavior on their flights and that the security of their staff and passengers is a priority.
Ryanair announces plans to move into Lufthansa's home hub of Frankfurt, stepping up its push into bigger airports and ratcheting up pressure on the German carrier. Ivor Bennett reports.
