Yokohama, Feb 11 (EFE/EPA).- Japanese authorities will allow elderly passengers and those with chronic illnesses to leave a cruise ship quarantined in the Japanese port city of Yokohama since last week, after 135 of the people on board have been infected with the coronavirus.These passengers on the Diamond Princess cruise ship could be allowed to disembark on Tuesday, according to Japanese news agency Kyodo, citing sources familiar with the case.The ship has been at Yokohama port since Feb. 3 when Japanese authorities denied it from disembarking and ordered it be quarantined.
