The Springboks bid farewell to their fans at a ceremony in Johannesburg as they depart South Africa en route to the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France via the United Kingdom. The defending champions are scheduled to play warm-up matches against Wales in Cardiff on August 19 and New Zealand in London on August 25 before their opening match of the tournament against Scotland in Marseille on September 10.
