Ex-soldier charged over N. Ireland 'Bloody Sunday' killings

Description

Northern Irish prosecutors charge a former British soldier with murder over the "Bloody Sunday" killings of 1972 in a politically sensitive case that has stirred passions in both Britain and Ireland. The Public Prosecution Service says there was enough evidence to prosecute Soldier F for the murders of James Wray and William McKinney. He also faces charges for the attempted murders of Patrick O'Donnell, Joseph Friel, Joe Mahon and Michael Quinn. SOUNDBITE of Director of Public Prosecutions Stephen Herron
