An anti-abortion rally in central Zagreb draws crowds of several thousands, according to an AFP journalist, as activists in the staunchly Catholic country warn of an erosion of women's reproductive rights. Waving banners with slogans such as "Unborn children -- the most endangered minority in Croatia" and "Unborn lives matter, too", thousands, including many parents with children, took part in the annual "March for Life".

Thousands of people cheer as they gather for the annual anti-abortion "March for Life" protest in Washington, DC. This year’s march comes less than two months after the conservative-leaning US Supreme Court refused to block a Texas law that bans most abortions after six weeks, but left the door open for abortion providers to challenge the law in lower courts.
