An ambulance believed to be carrying Norway's ailing King Harald V leaves a hospital on the island of Langkawi with a police escort. Harald was admitted to the hospital on the Malaysian island, where he was on holiday, with an infection on Tuesday. He is expected to return home on Sunday. IMAGES

King Charles III arrives at the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre in central London for his first official public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer, after doctors said they were "very encouraged" by the progress of his treatment.
