Franch: Melle's 'Water Village' to be a frontline for protests against mega-basin

Description

The "Village de l'eau" (Water Village) opens its doors in Melle near Sainte-Soline, in the Deux-Sèvres region of France, where thousands of people opposed to 'mega-basins' are expected to gather until the end of the week. Significant police forces are present to search participants at the entrance to the village. IMAGES
