Acropolis closes during hottest hours of Greek heatwave

The Acropolis in Athens, Greece's most visited tourist site, shuts its ticket booth and closes to the public during the hottest hours of the day as a heatwave bakes the country. The culture ministry said the UNESCO-listed archaeological site would close from midday to 5:00 pm (0900 to 1400 GMT). IMAGES
