Graffiti Braille Art Gallery Unites Blind People and Viewers

Description

The full picture behind an art installation featuring braille pieces combined with visual graffiti can only be 'seen' when blind people reading the braille share information with people viewing the art. Set up in Russia's Yekaterinburg, the brail ‘graffiti gallery’ is dedicated to visually impaired stars including musician Ray Charles, athlete Marle Runyan and programmer Mikhail Pozhidaev. Andrei Kolokolev, the artist behind the initiative, wanted to increase interactions between people with and without vision.
