This incredible, one-of-a-kind auto is the Infiniti Prototype 9 concept car, an electric concept that pays homage to the design of the pre-war era. It went on display at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance car event in California last weekend. The prototype, which infuses the aesthetic of a 1940s race with ultra-sleek modern design and technology, can reach up to 140 miles per hour, and ran its first race on Wednesday.

Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn unveiled details of the latest model of the second-generation Nissan Leaf at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 and introduced the company's new system for handling self-driving cars, dubbed Seamless Autonomous Mobility, or SAM.
