Need for Speed? Nissan's New Crime-Busting Cop Car Dubbed 'Copzilla'

Police sirens could be heard blaring through Downtown Manhattan as the new Nissan Police Pursuit 23 made its way to the New York International Auto Show, on Wednesday. The 565-horsepower 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 can power the monstrous vehicle to reach speeds of up to 196 miles per hour and rocket the car from 0 to 60 in 2.7 seconds, so it's no wonder that Nissan's new 'crime-busting' GT-R sports car has been dubbed 'Copzilla'.

The girlfriend of 30-year-old Robert Howard reported him missing Wednesday night. He was later found to have been shot to death inside a vehicle. According to Newser, the grisly murder was made even more horrifying by the discovery of who the killer was. Patric Ferguson, 29, faces first-degree murder and kidnapping charges, and he's been fired from the force.
