Nakhon Ratchasrima, Feb 9 (EFE).- A soldier who shot and left tens of people dead and dozens injured before holing himself up overnight at a shopping center was killed by police Sunday in a province in central Thailand, authorities said.Sgt. Jakrapanth Thomma, who shot dead 26 people and injured 57 others in Nakhon Ratchasima province at Terminal 21 shopping center, was killed after a night-long police standoff, Thai Police Commissioner-General Chakthip Chaijinda said. US President Barack Obama addressed hundreds of people in Dallas on Tuesday, at a memorial service for the five policemen who were killed at a protest organised in response to the fatal shootings of two black men last week.
Dallas Police Chief Officer David Brown gave a press conference, Monday, at which he explained the guidance he gave to use a bomb robot to kill the man who is believed to have killed at least five police officers. Rounds ripped through downtown Dallas, last Thursday, killing five police officers and wounding at least seven more. The suspect was identified as Micah Xavier Johnson who was killed by a detonation squad robot in the standoff with the police.
