Potentially Bulletproof 'Dragon Silk' Spun by Silkworms Catches US Army's Eye

Description

Silk produced by wriggling silkworms genetically crossed with creepy crawly spiders has caught the eye of an unusual fashion designer - the US Army. Kraig Biocraft Labs is creating hyper strong, elastic silk with genetically altered silk worms in their Indiana lab. It's so strong that they've called it Dragon Silk and it may just become the new standard for bulletproof vests.
