Toyota Motor Corp is recalling about 5.8 million cars at home and abroad over potentially faulty air bag inflators made by Takata Corp., including those used as replacement parts following a 2010 recall. Ryan Brooks reports.
The Japanese automaker Toyota says it is recalling 3.37 million cars worldwide over defects involving airbags and emissions control units.
This is the Vulcano Titanium, the world's first and only titanium supercar. It was unveiled at the Dubai Motor Show on Tuesday and comes with a staggering price tag of $2.5 million. The Vulcano Titanium is handmade by Italian carmaker Icona and inspired by the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird aircraft. A supercharged V8 engine capable of being tuned to over 1000 horsepower can power the Vulcano from 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds.
Fiat Chrysler is recalling 1.9 million vehicles worldwide for an air bag defect linked to three deaths and five injuries in yet another major recall to hit the auto industry. David Pollard reports.
