Heads up, Geek readers! Amazon’s homepage exploded this morning, showering the Internet with new hardware. They’ve got four new tablets and three new members of the Fire TV family. First up is the Fire. No Kindle, mind you… just Fire. It’s the dirt-cheap tablet we saw leaked a few days ago, and Amazon says it “sets a new standard for a tablet under $50.” By under $50, they mean $49.99. It features a quad-core 1.3GHz processor, a 1024 x 600 display, front and rear-facing cameras, and 8GB of internal storage. Amazon has also thoughtfully included a micro SD slot for expansion. Amazon also introduced two new Fire HD tablets, Fire Kids Edition, and new Fire TV devices.
The next version of Apple's streaming box will be compatible with Bluetooth game controllers. According to a report from 9-to-5-Mac, the box will support third-party manufactured peripherals. That will pave Apple's way towards the revenue from the recent popularity in mobile gaming on streaming devices. Such as Google's Android TV and Amazon's Fire TV, The company is also expected to introduce the press to the new Apple TV next week during an event in San Francisco. The new package reportedly ships with an enhanced remote control, that can be used as a game controller, but in limited capacity.
Apple TV needs a refresh, and pronto, if new numbers from Parks Associates are to be believed. The market research outlet reported Friday that Apple TV slipped to fourth place on the list of most-sold streaming devices in 2014. That list was led by Roku, with 34% of all U.S. consumers who bought a streaming device opting either for a Roku streaming box or stick in 2014. No. 2 was Google with 23%; 14% of consumers opted for a device made by a company other than Apple, Amazon, Roku or Google.

Drivers of the Huracán EVO can adjust in-car functions such as climate, lighting and seat heating, as well as control navigation, telephone calls and entertainment with a simple ‘Alexa’ voice command, leaving them to focus on the road.
