Comment différencier une étoile filante un satellite? C'est une erreur qui peut arriver : Vous voyez quelque chose dans le ciel et vous pensez que c'est une étoile filante alors qu'en fait, c'est juste un satellite artificiel. Il y a une astuce pour les distinguer. L'étoile filante est un phénomène très bref qui ne dure qu'une fraction de seconde à quelques secondes pour les plus remarquables. Le satellite lui met plusieurs minutes à traverser la voûte céleste. Et sur une photo, comment faire la différence? Il faut regarder la longueur de la traînée lumineuse. Si la traînée traverse la voûte céleste en entier ou en partie, c'est sûrement un satellite. Si la traînée est courte, localisée dans une zone du ciel, c'est probablement une étoile filante !
The Zoo of Copenhagen has released footage of a baby elephant which was born last week in captivity as part of a European breeding program for Asian elephants. The mother is 16 year old Maha Kumari and the fathers name is Fahim. The name and gender of the baby elephant aren't known yet. Calves weight in beetween 70 and 90kg at birth after spending 22 months in their mothers wombs, the longest gestation in the animal kindom. The giant panda Tian Tian, on loan from China to the Washington Zoo, is busy in his pen the day after the birth of the baby panda he had with Mei Xiang. She was artificially inseminated on March 22 with Tian Tian's frozen semen. IMAGES
