Louisiana State Police confirmed that at least three police officers were killed in a shooting in Baton Rouge in Louisiana on Sunday, with State Governor John Bel Edwards calling it an "unspeakable and unjustified attack." Christmas morning took a turn for the gruesome after authorities investigating the shooting of a Bay Area police officer discovered a dead body inside the suspect’s truck.
Police in Oakland, Maine, found four people dead in an apparent murder suicide on Wednesday night. According to WCSH6 news, at about 8 p.m. 42-year-old Herman Derico is alleged to have shot his three roommates to death in a house they shared on Belgrade Road. Derico then walked outside to the driveway where he shot himself to death.
