Caracas: Venezuelans vote in opposition primary election

Description

Venezuelans begin voting in Caracas to choose the opposition candidate who will face President Nicolas Maduro in the 2024 elections. The 21 million Venezuelans on the electoral rolls are being called to vote in these primaries, which feature 11 candidates, against whom Maria Corina Machado, of the more radical wing, has a huge lead in the polls: her victory seems a foregone conclusion.
