Protesters gather outside the BBC's headquarters for a march through central London in support of Palestinians. The war in Gaza was triggered by Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7 that resulted in the deaths of more than 1,160 people in Israel, mostly civilians, according to an AFP tally based on official Israeli figures. Israel's subsequent offensive on Gaza has killed at least 27,238 people, most of them women and under-18s, according to the Hamas-run territory's health ministry. IMAGES
