White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan briefs the press following a phone call between Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu during which the US president told his Israeli counterpart that he is "deeply concerned" about Israel potentially conducting military operations in Rafah, adding, "Israel has not presented us or the world with a plan for how or where they would safely move those civilians." The White House says US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have spoken about Gaza in their first conversation for nearly a month amid reports of tensions between the leaders.
