Farewell to serviceman killed during Kazakhstan clashes

Family members and fellow servicemen bid farewell to lieutenant colonel Sandybek Khairov at the House of Officers in Khazakstan's Almaty. Khairov was killed during unrest that began with peaceful protests over an energy price hike. Hundreds of people were injured and police said they arrested more than 10,000 people. IMAGES
