Thousands rally in Georgia for jailed ex-president Saakashvili

Some 3,000 supporters of Georgia's jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili rally outside his prison, demanding his release after the authorities threatened him with fresh charges if he does not "behave." Saakashvili -- the founder of Georgia's main opposition force, the United National Movement, and president from 2004-2013 -- secretly returned from exile on the eve of Saturday's local elections and was swiftly arrested.
