Thousands in Mexico City march to protest abortion

Mexico City, Oct 3 (EFE).- Thousands of people turned out on Sunday in Mexico City to march along the iconic Paseo de la Reforma avenue carrying blue pro-life signs to protest against abortion and express their displeasure over the Supreme Court of Justice's recent ruling that criminally penalizing abortion in Coahuila state is unconstitutional, a ruling that has set an historic precedent in this overwhelmingly Catholic nation."(We're here) to defend the rights of the baby, which is already alive from the first moment that the egg is fertilized.
