A Russian rocket strike destroyed a five-storey apartment block in the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, killing at least three people and leaving other residents trapped under rubble, the regional governor and emergencies service said on Thursday.
Russia unleashed a massive missile barrage on cities across Ukraine early Thursday killing at least six people and targeting energy infrastructure facilities in the first attack on such a scale in three weeks.
A Russian missile hit a five-story apartment building in Zaporizhzhia in southeastern Ukraine on Thursday, according to police.
The attack carried out on Sunday hit many facilities, including a hospital, a post office, bus station and residential buildings
The attack on Chaplyne, a town in central Ukraine between Donetsk and Zaporzhizhia, wounded another 50, President Zelenskyy told UN Security Council on Wednesday.
