US backs Russian and Belarussian athletes as neutrals in Olympics: WH

Description

US says sports organizers should ensure that Russian and Belarusian athletes do not represent their countries if they are permitted to compete in a global sporting event. "The use of official state Russian, Belarusian flags, emblems and anthem should be prohibited as well," White House spokesperson, Karine Jean-Pierre, tells reporter in a press conference at the White House.
