Senegalese opposition leader Ousmane Sonko makes his first public appearance in months, greeting and waving at hundreds of supporters in the capital Dakar, a day after his release from prison. Sonko is welcomed by the crowd ahead of a press conference he was due to hold with his deputy, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, who was also released from prison on Thursday and who Sonko has endorsed as a candidate for the country's March 24 presidential vote.
