The United States and China take contradictory stances at the UN Security Council on how to reduce tensions with North Korea, with Washington arguing for more sanctions against Pyongyang while Beijing calls for them to be eased.
US President Joe Biden asked Congress on Thursday for $33 billion more for Ukraine, saying it was "not cheap" but that Washington could not stand by in the face of Russia's "atrocities and aggression."
