William Ruto declared winner of Kenya's presidential elections

William Ruto receives the certificate of his victory from the hands of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Chairman Wafula Chebukati, as Ruto was declared President-elect of Kenya despite several commissioners rejecting the results. Chebukati declared him the victor with almost 7.18 million votes (50.49 percent) against 6.94 million (48.85 percent) for his rival Raila Odinga. IMAGES
