The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, says he is seeking warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of Defence Yoav Gallant on suspicion of war crimes and crimes against humanity. According to Karim Khan crimes include "starvation", "wilful killing", and "extermination and/or murder". SOUNDBITE
ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan says crimes affecting children were his top priority when he came into the role and form the basis for the arrest warrant issued for Russian President Vladimir Putin. "Children are the most vulnerable part of our society... and the most in need of protection," Khan says. SOUNDBITE
ICC President Piotr Hofmanski says in a video statement that ICC judges have issued an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin after determining that there are "credible allegations" against him for the "unlawful deportation" of Ukrainian children. SOUNDBITE
