US plans daily flights to evacuate Afghan allies: State Dept

The US will start sending in daily flights to evacuate Afghan interpreters and others who assisted the Americans and are fearful for their lives due to the Taliban's sweeping offensive across Afghanistan, US State Department spokesman Ned Price announces. "Additional flights will begin landing daily and you’re going to see the total number grow very quickly," Price tells reporters. SOUNDBITE
