Rescuers in Kamchatka peninsula in Russia's far east are busy packing and getting ready to board their helicopter to head to where a helicopter has crashed with 16 people on board, most of them tourists. IMAGES
Images show Russian law enforcement blocking access to a road leading to the site of a plane crash which is thought to have killed Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the Russian mercenary group Wagner. According to preliminary information, all 10 people on board died, including three crew members, Russian authorities said. Russia's aviation agency later said the Wagner chief was on board the plane. Rescuers and paramedics arrive at the scene where a man armed with a knife attacked a group of pre-school children playing by Lake Annecy in the French Alps, wounding four as well as an adult and sending shockwaves through the country.
