Paris's Notre Dame Cathedral gets a new golden rooster, part of its renaissance from the ashes of the 2019 fire that severely damaged it, and ahead of its reopening next year. Carpenters at Paris Notre Dame Cathedral cheer as the last dowel is hammered in its wooden frame structure rebuilt identically to the original medieval-age one. Following the tradition, a bouquet made up from a branch coming from one of trees used in the reconstruction project is placed at the top of the choir frame, marking the end of this rebuilding stage.
