On December 25, 2021, the James Webb telescope was launched into space to look further into the universe than we've ever seen before. Ever since its first photos of nebulas and distant galaxies, NASA's most powerful telescope has been enchanting the public and impressing scientists. But the technological jewel is a powerful political tool as well, particularly for the United States. FRANCE 24's Sylvain Rousseau and Shirli Sitbon tell us more about the revolutionary telescope.
