Supporters of Cyril Ramaphosa's predecessor Jacob Zuma jeering him at the outset of his speech before the ANC party conference, with plenty of allusions to the wads of cash stolen from a couch at his private ranch. South Africa’s ruling party beginning a closely watched conference today...The ANC looks set to re-elect Cyril Ramaphosa as its leader, despite his recent scandal over a huge cash burglary at his game farm. Ramaphosa’s supporters are sticking by their man, but the President could still face some competition for power. FRANCE 24's correspondent in Cape Town, Nadine Theron, reports with Caroline Dumay and Stefan Carstens.
