Heads of state from member countries of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) arrive in Abuja, the Nigerian capital, to discuss the situation in Niger, which has been under sanctions for seven months, at a new extraordinary summit of the regional organisation. IMAGES
Heads of States arrive at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa for the second and last day of the organisation's 36th summit. More than 30 presidents and prime ministers are in attendance, as they discuss a slew of challenges facing the continent.
