Israel-Hamas war: The IDF's goal has 'not been achieved yet'

Description

FRANCE 24’s International Affairs Editor Kethevane Gorjestani, speaking about the Israeli military offensive in Gaza and its results, said the stated goal of the latter, since the beginning of the war, has been to “eliminate Hamas, plain and simple”.“If you look at the weeks that we have seen of relentless airstrikes, of heavy street fighting between the soldiers and the Hamas militants ... the result for now has been that that goal has not been achieved yet”, said Gorjestani.
