Gaza residents desperate for aid as blockade persists

Description

Hundreds of thousands of residents in Gaza desperately await food and medical supplies as the UN called for a humanitarian ceasefire in the region. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that 100 trucks carrying humanitarian supplies entered Gaza from Egypt on Sunday, a number "well below" the daily average of 500 truckloads, including fuel, that entered every working day prior to October 7.
