Heavy rain in southern Brazil has caused a huge landslide along the RS-446 national highway. The rivers of southern Brazil are once again in flood as rescue operations intensify and President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva admits that the authorities were "unprepared" for a disaster of this scale.
