EU ups military aid for Ukraine, launches training programme

Description

The EU agreed to increase its military aid for Ukraine at a meeting on Monday, bringing the total spent by bloc to help Kyiv in its war effort to 3.1 billion euros. Ministers also announced the launch of a training mission that will see some 15,000 Ukrainian troops train in EU countries from next month.
