Images of Tanzanian-born novelist Abdulrazak Gurnah's books in Stockholm after he won the Nobel Prize in Literature for 2021. Gurnah has published 10 novels and a number of short stories, and his work touches on colonialism and refugee life. IMAGES
Abdulrazak Gurnah is awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for 2021 for his "uncompromising and compassionate penetration of the effects of colonialism and the fate of the refugee in the gulf between cultures and continents". SOUNDBITE
