The first shipment of US assistance to Ukraine arrives in Boryspil, which Washington said was meant to "bolster its defenses in the face of growing Russian aggression", a day after Washington and Moscow's top diplomats agreed to keep working to ease tensions over Ukraine. "The shipment includes close to 200,000 pounds of lethal aid, including ammunition for the front line defenders of Ukraine," the US embassy in Kyiv tweeted. IMAGES
NATO leaders vow at least 40 billion euros of military aid for Ukraine, as the Alliance summit takes place in Washington.
