Blinken denounces China on Taiwan, says US stance unchanged

Description

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken accuses Beijing of raising tensions over Taiwan and insists US policy has not changed after President Joe Biden said Washington would defend the island. "What has changed is Beijing's growing coercion, like trying to cut off Taiwan's relations with countries around the world and blocking it from participating in international organizations," Blinken says in a wide-ranging speech on China.
