Ukraine claimed full control of Russia's eastern logistics hub Lyman, its most significant battlefield gain in weeks, setting the stage for further advances aimed at cutting Moscow's supply lines to its battered troops to a single route. FRANCE 24's Chief Foreign Editor Rob Parsons tells us more.
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen warns that "Russia is blackmailing" EU member states and "using energy as a weapon." Like many countries in Europe, Finland is looking to liquified natural gas to replace the main pipeline gas it used to receive from Russia.
